Christine Conklin

I have always looked at hair and fashion as living breathing art. After highschool I attended The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and graduated with a degree in Fashion Design. In 2006 I attended the Jean Madeline Institute in Philadelphia. Since then I have worked in a salon as a stylist as well as a freelance hair and make-up artist, doing photo shoots, fashion shows, hair shows and competitions, including the French Film Festival and Hair Wars. I work with Bumble & bumble products, Wella color, and a number of alternate hair choices such as extensions and wigs. I am currently working with the California Musical Theater styling hair and wigs, and have a studio gallery at the Sacramento Art complex. Always learning is what keeps me on point, but the relationships I create with my clients is what keeps me passionate about what I do. I look forward to my future in this ever-changing, ever-inspiring industry. Make Art. Not War.
